St. Vincent & the Grenadines

One volcanic mainland, thirty-two islands behind it, and a marine park where turtles graze in waist-deep water.

St. Vincent is the green, mountainous mainland almost nobody visits. The Grenadines are the chain of small islands behind it that everybody has heard of. This route uses both: two days on St. Vincent for the rainforest and the botanic gardens, then Bequia and a day in the Tobago Cays, which is one of the best marine parks in the Caribbean.

What you get

The whole trip, decided.

Not a list of sights. A route someone has already walked, with the bookings that need doing early flagged, the transfers timed, and the costs written as real ranges instead of a fantasy number.

Why this one

Worth the flight.

  • The Tobago Cays, a horseshoe reef enclosing shallow water full of green turtles
  • Bequia, a boat-building island with a working harbour and no pretension
  • St. Vincent's Botanic Gardens, founded in 1765 and the oldest in the western hemisphere
  • Dark View Falls, reached across a bamboo bridge
  • Ferry travel between islands, which is how the country actually works

Best months are December, January, February, March, April, May. Expect around $1,300–2,400 per person, excluding flights for the whole 6 days, excluding flights. The guide breaks that into stay, food, activities and transport so you can see where it goes.

How this stays honest

Checked August 2026

Prices, opening days and entry rules drift, and no written guide can outrun that. So costs are always ranges rather than quotes, every plan carries the date it was last checked, and the last page is six things to confirm yourself before you book anything.

I take no commission from any hotel or operator. You book everything yourself, in your own name, at the price you can see.
