The short version
This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising and no cookies of its own. I collect only what you type into the enquiry form, and only so I can reply to you. I don't sell or share it.
What I collect
If you send a custom planning brief: your name, email, and everything you write about your trip. It's sent to my inbox and kept there so I can plan for you and refer back to it. That's the whole purpose.
If you buy an itinerary: the transaction is handled entirely by Stripe. I see your email address and what you bought. I never see your card number. Stripe doesn't share it with me, by design.
If you email me: whatever's in the email.
What I don't collect
- No analytics or visitor tracking of any kind.
- No advertising or third-party marketing cookies.
- No card or payment details. Those never touch this site.
- No mailing list unless you explicitly ask to be on one.
Who else is involved
- Stripe processes payments and applies its own privacy policy and fraud checks.
- Web3Forms delivers the enquiry form to my inbox. It passes the message on; it isn't a marketing platform.
- The host serves the site and keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses for a short period.
How long I keep things
Enquiries and trip briefs stay in my email so I can look back at trips I've planned. Ask me to delete yours and I will. Stripe keeps transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email ianalsopp@gmail.com and I'll action it. If you're in the UK, EU or California you have these rights in law; I apply them to everyone regardless.
Children
This site isn't intended for under-16s, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If what I collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
